BAKED TOFU
- Makes: 4 servings
- Ingredients:
- 16 ounces firm tofu
- 4 tbsp. lime or lemon juice
- 4 tbsp. soy sauce (reduced sodium)
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1 tsp. minced ginger root
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp chili sauce
- Directions:
- Slice the tofu into 2 slices, set aside.
- In a baking dish combine the lime/lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger root, and chili sauce. Place the tofu in the mixture and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Remove the dish from the refrigerator and allot it to return to room temperature. Bake for 45 minutes
