BAKED TOFU

  • Makes: 4 servings

  • Ingredients:
    • 16 ounces firm tofu
    • 4 tbsp. lime or lemon juice
    • 4 tbsp. soy sauce (reduced sodium)
    • 1 tsp. honey
    • 1 tsp. minced ginger root
    • 2 tsp. minced garlic
    • 1 tsp chili sauce

  • Directions:
    • Slice the tofu into 2 slices, set aside.
    • In a baking dish combine the lime/lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger root, and chili sauce. Place the tofu in the mixture and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
    • Remove the dish from the refrigerator and allot it to return to room temperature. Bake for 45 minutes
