Essential Oils

[ Essential Oil Basics ] [ Essential Oil Recipes ] [ Carrier Oils ]

Pure essential oils are used in aromatherapy and blends for massages, sprays, douches, creams and washes. They contain a full spectrum of the constituents found in the plant. Oils can be used to relieve stress, ease dry itchy skin, disinfect, ease painful joints, sooth and improve your environment. Essential oils are much more concentrated than the raw plants and should never be used undiluted. Do not use internally without proper research and knowledge. Some oils should not be used during pregnancy or while taking other medications. Keep oils out of the reach of children, as the smell and packaging can be quite appealing to them and they can accidentally spill or ingest them. Always do a patch test to test for allergies.

Always dilute an essential oil before letting it touch skin
